Course Overview:
Are you new to the security industry or a veteran in need of a refresher? If so, then the Homeland Security Awareness Bootcamp is what you’re looking for. This homeland security course is designed to prepare the new and veteran security professional and supervisor to manage security programs and keep in compliance with security laws and regulations.  After discussing the birth of homeland security and the doctrine of risk management, students will learn specific tactics, techniques and procedures to better secure their facilities and keep in compliance with current and upcoming homeland security laws and regulations.  Day three finds the students discussing security programs regulated by the federal government. The class will culminate with a practical exercise whereby students will assess the risk and develop a security plan for a facility required to comply with a federal security program. This is a great chance to not only learn the regulations but network with security colleagues all over the U.S.
